Rally description

This Rally is now Full. Our next available rally is Bonkers to Budapest 2009.

This fantastic banger rally takes in the amazing Swiss Alps, rolling hills of Italy, French Riviera, Costa Brava and the Spanish Catalan capital. Is there anything else you could ask for in a banger rally? 

Day 1 - 1 in 5



Check in is from 6 pm till 11 pm Thursday evening at the Australian bar in Lilles trendy drinking quarter, our gazibo will be pretty easy to spot. We start at 9 a.m. and head to Thun we do five countries in one drive today. We dont have any hotels booked in Thun but the rates are reasonable in this beutiful Swiss town, there is camping accommodation and is perfect for a few beers and a barbie.  (of course we are happy to recomend some nearby hotels and camp sites)

Day 2 - Over the hills and far away



The second day is where the fun driving really begins, after leaving the Swiss Capital we head off over the Alps which is a stunning drive, we pass over the Gran St Bernadino pass, you can go through the tunnel, but going over the pass will be part of the days challenge. This is where the Italian job was filmed (bus over the cliff), For those who want to take it a bit easier you can drive 1-5 passes as you see fit, this is a day for every driver. 

Destination is Salze D'Oulx an Italian Ski town that we have pretty much to ourselves for the night, after this day you will need to let your hair down, we may even put on a band for the evening. This is an amazing challange day with 5 mountain passes for the hardened driver.  

Day 3 Lost in Translation



From the centre of mountains and stunning countryside we head off to the French Riviera over one more stunning mountain pass. We pass by Monte Carlo and for those who dont mind arriving a bit later you can always drop down to have a look. The destination is the Hostoric French city of Arles, we arrive just after the bull fighting festival (the bulls dont die here so its ok) so there will be a few revelers left partying.

Day 4 Granny's Avin it in Costa Brava



The destination after Arles is Barcelona. This is a short drive so we make a short detour to the Costa Brava to help Granny with her Photo problem, we will have Ice creams and soft drinks waiting at Llaret De Mar before heading convoy to the city. The final party (if you can still stand at this point) and award ceremony will be held at a sports bar on Las Ramlas.

On day 5 we will be hosting a go karting race, so those that want to take part can let us know asap, its around £40 per person.
